What this site collects, in plain words.

The free check

The check runs in your browser. It reads a local seed file and computes the result there. Your answers, including the review date, are not sent to the server and are not stored. The share link puts the answers in the URL fragment, and only you decide whether to share it.

Payments

Stripe handles payment. This site receives the session identifier and the payment status, not your card details. Stripe's own privacy terms apply to the payment page.

The watch

If you subscribe, Stripe holds the email address you give and this site reads it to send the change email. It is used for the watch and for nothing else. Cancel and the emails stop.

Server logs

The host records the usual request data, including an IP address and a user agent, for security and availability. The site sets no advertising cookie and makes no third-party request from its pages.

Your rights

Email support@theartofservice.com to ask what is held, to correct it or to have it removed. A request is answered within thirty days.
